Start the printer program (installed does not mean it is running)
On the windows firewall dialog (that should pop up once you start the printer software) allow the connections TO the printer software (otherwise it cannot be used)
Try to reach the DS708 via the VNC (RemoteDesktop) to see if the network is OK between the PC and the DS708.

I also assume that you followed the description in the userguide start the VNC client on the DS708 (that is where you get the IP from).

If so, you have an issue in your wireless network.
Try to connect the DS708 via a LAN cable to your network and check if printing and VNC is working then.
Also, is the IE working on the DS708 / Update client working  via wireless connection ?
